RIP

It is 10 years since the Grim Reaper (in the shape of General Accident) called at 25-31 Moorgate.

Shortly afterwards, in June 1998, General Accident merged with Commercial Union to form the CGU.

Then in May 2000 CGU merged with Norwich Union and in July 2002 the name was changed to Aviva.

This site has absolutely nothing to do with any of the above organisations.

It has been set up so that those ex-employees of Provident Mutual who have fond memories can exchange reminiscences and anecdotes and arrange reunions if they feel so inclined.
